The philosophy that every "doodle" has the potential of becoming a masterpiece. Imagination and creativity have no boundaries and we cheer on coloring outside the lines. Our artist is available for commission using various mediums and each unique project will be created with passion and ingenuity. We will also be spotlighting other new young artists' work as we begin to grow and evolve. Often, art is used to express feelings that one cannot convey through words. One of our missions is to provide these artists with a platform to express themselves and share their talent with the world.
Danielle Alexis originates from Savannah, Georgia, home of SCAD. She currently resides in South Florida. Since the early age of 7, she was noted to have an inherent gifted ability to draw. She could capture an image from a mere magazine or a book. Her first art book, pencil set and paints, came as a gift from her late great aunt, Berta Lam . From that moment on, she began self-teaching. In 2014, while attending grade school, her work was selected to represent her school in the Law Week Student Art Contest via the Rupert J. Smith Law Library of St. Lucie County, where she received an Honorable Mention and monetary prize. Her first ever art class was an elective in high school. Early on in her Freshman year, her work was selected for the Martin S. Cone High School Juried Art Show. The Arts Council of Martin County awarded her a placed win and prize. Her art piece, "Hope and Darkness", was sold on the same day. Since that time, she has expanded to use other mediums. She has been commissioned for various logos, designs and projects for school organizations, along with other private commissions. Her artistic talent is also accompanied by many academic accomplishments as well as philanthropy. She currently attends the University of Florida with a focus on Biochemistry. Encouraged by her friends and family to go forward with her talent and passion, she arrives here today.
Imagination embarks on an expressive journey to its final destination by various modes of transport including Pencil, Ink, Digital Art, Watercolor, and Photography.
Inspiration makes its appearance by way of different avenues. We live in a beautiful and fascinating world. There is also the universe of fantasy and imagination. At times, inspiration simply comes from within us: moods, feelings, memories, and life encounters. There is an artist in each of us, and expression through art can become one's own pictorial journal.
